Misty's Wedding Day

I had the pleasure of helping Misty get ready for her wedding day at Cj's Off the Square in Franklin, TN. Even though Cj's has a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite, Misty decided to get ready at her home. Sometimes, a relaxing morning at home before the wedding day is the best decision. I always recommend the bride chose the least stressful location for their hair and makeup services so they can enjoy the process instead of feeling overwhelmed. Additionally, having your hair and makeup done in a private setting, not only creates a more dramatic reveal to your family and bridal party, it can also feel more indulgent.

For Misty's makeup, we used her wedding colors as our inspiration. We used plums and dusty pinks on her eyes, and used my favorite natural pink lip color for a "your lips but better" feeling. Her hair was gently swept back from her face, with romantic curls and plenty of volume to keep it looking soft.
